What age should my children visit the dentist?

We recommend that children should attend the dentist as early as possible so they can get used to the environment of a dental practice – this could mean that you can bring them for a ride in the chair as early as 18 months old when you come in for your active maintenance. It is important that children are seen for active maintenance every 6 months to ensure baby teeth are coming through in correct eruption and no cavities are present on them.
